Adapty was made by engineers for engineers. As developers, we worked closely with in-app purchases and subscriptions. Having faced all kinds of problems, from tech implementation of subscriptions to price optimization, we’ve decided to create Adapty – a simple all-in-one service for subscriptions.
Community is our main driver for growth. We love coding, we respect developers, and want to spread the word about us around the world. We’re looking for a strong developer advocate who wants to start and lead a community for developers in Latin America and Spain (Spanish-speaking people).
For us, our community is not the place where we sell, but the place where we unite and help developers to win the market. It’s the place where people naturally talk about everything – from app reviews to Adapty’s support.
We expect you to spread the word about Adapty: create and post content, acquire followers to grow our community, and establish a cult around Adapty.
In this role, you will...
- Create and lead our tech media presence. Lead and grow our Twitter, and Discord media channels (the main ones), as well as Slack, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Be the voice of our community. Be close to our cherished members and make yourself known. Get feedback and insights from our community and pass this information into our development cycles. Grow loyal community champions that will amplify your actions.
- Grow our community. Inspire developers with demos, blog posts, tutorials, and other content. Write and share product updates, SDK tips & tricks, and market analytics.
- Be public. Show the world that you’re a world-class expert: travel, speak at conferences, and build partnerships, and friendships.
- Find new ways to engage with our community. AMAs, hackathons, or contests? Be creative, listen to your community, and make them interested.
You will be a great fit if...
- You’re a former (or current) mobile developer. You love coding, you love tech things, you love talking about all this, and you don’t fake it.
- You’re into mobile. You know the app business the tech stack and understand the monetization pain.
- You possess a solid understanding of technical communities in Latin America or Spain.
You have empathy for developers' challenges and problems and participate in communities actively. You're fluent in Spanish and a strong external communicator who can easily communicate with our users. **
- You own it. You’re interested in Adapty’s business and learning more about its marketing strategy.
It’d be great if...
- You've built communities before. You have several years of experience in the DevRel space and you’ve got the tools to build another community for us.
